The primary port, GZDoom, sports advanced hardware (OpenGL) and enhanced software rendering capabilities, while the port LZDoom serves as an alternative with a different feature set, detailed below.Locate and install IWADs to ~/Library/Application Support/Zandronum/.(If you wish to install to a different location make sure Zandronum runs from here first!) Open the dmg image and copy Zandronum.app and Doomseeker.app to your Applications folder.Install IWADs to ~/.zandronum/ or other location if you modify the ini.Extract the tarball to the location of your choice.Run Zandronum/Doomseeker from games menu.$ sudo apt-get install zandronum doomseeker-zandronum $ sudo add-apt-repository 'deb stable multiverse' Open a terminal and run the following command sequence:.Internet Doom Explorer is also compatible with Zandronum. If you are playing online, it is recommened to configure your player settings in OPTIONS -> PLAYER SETUP, and your key configuration in OPTIONS -> CUSTOMIZE CONTROLS / MOUSE OPTIONS.

Run Zandronum and play the game, or run Doomseeker and jump in a server! No additional program configuration required.
